UPDATE:
Marvin came through the surgery with flying colors! Praise the Lord!! He was moved yesterday to an inpatient rehab facility. He is walking with a walker but is improving more and more everyday! He is very motivated and is ready to come home. He will probably be in the rehab facility for a week or so depending on how well he does with his therapy. Thank you so much for your thoughts, prayers and calls!

Tomorrow, my father in law Marvin, will be undergoing total hip replacement surgery. He is not in the best health to have the surgery because of previous heart and lung problems, but the surgery is necessary for him to continue the quality of life he has now. Please keep him, as well as the rest of our family in your thoughts and prayers over the next few days. Thanks!

Nobody ever tells me anything...I think the chain of communication stops with my Nanny & Pa, but it may also have something to do with the fact that Nanny's been in the hospital for a couple of weeks now too. Anyway, let us know how it went.
