Happy Fall Y'all!

Kenzie's class went on a field trip today to McLeod Farms, just outside of Hartsville. McLeod Farms started as a Roadside Market and is infamous for their Peaches. However, they now have over 5,000 acres of crops including Corn, Collards, Pumpkins, Strawberries, Grapes, Blackberries, and of course Peaches. They have even been featured in Southern Living. In addition to the "home grown" stuff, they have hand dipped Ice Cream, Apple Crisp in the fall, Strawberry and Peach Cobbler in the Sping and Summer and year round Peach Enchilads, YUMMY!
Today, we had homemade Peach Ice Cream, heard a story about Pumpkins, went through the Antique Museum, Went on a hayride to pick out pumpkins, and had a great time. There is also a little restaurant there too called Big's... They have such good food, so if you are ever in the area, STOP THERE. You will not regret your decision, Guaranteed.
